Chairman of the St. James Ministers’ Fraternal, Pastor Peter Burnett, is insisting that a religious organization in St. James accused of carrying out human sacrifices is not a church.
The Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries of Montego Bay was invaded by the police on Sunday after being alerted to an alleged human sacrificial ritual at the church.
Pastor Burnett says he is disheartened for the unsuspecting families involved in the incident.
The Police were alerted to the location by a female worshipper, who reported that sacrificial killings were taking place.
A deceased male and female member with their throats cut were also discovered on the scene.
